Waxtaan: ayca nu añ

Binta, Abdu Sekks wife, announces that lunch is ready and invites Amy and Abdu to come and eat.

Binta: Amy, ayca nu añ! Kumba, kaay lekk!
Abdu: Amy, sumrnil say dál1! am, raxasul fii !
Amy: jërëjëf.
Binta: fompul ci sarbet bi! Kumba, jox ko baN
Abdu: Amy, loxo ngay lekke, walla kuddu?
Amy: jox ma kuddu.

They are now eating.

Abdu: Amy, mbaa yaa ngiy lekk?
Amy: waaw, maa ngiy lekk bu baax!
Binta: bëgg nga ñeex!
Amy: waaw, tuuti.
Binta: xóóñ nak?
Amy: doy na.

A few minutes later, Amy finished eating.

Abdu: doo lekk?
Amy: suur naa!
Binta: lekkal waay!
Amy: billaay, doy na. Ceebu jën bi neex na lool, Binta!
Binta: jërëjëf, na rees agjámm!
