If a student is absent without an acceptable justification, these will not be made up. If a student misses more than five classes, his/her final grade will be dropped one letter grade. Additional absences will reduce students' grade futher. Students will be permitted to drop their lowest chapter test grade at the end of the semester.

Students' final grade will be calculated as follows:

GRADE SCALE: 90-100=A, 80-89=B, 70-79=C, 50-69=D, 49 and below=F

COURSE RESPONSIBILITIES: Each lesson revolves around a chapter. For each chapter the instructor will recommend exercises that will help students learn and internalize the material in the textbook. Students must turn in their homework in due time. No late homework will be accepted. Students may come to my office during office hours. Any student who needs help may also use my e-mail address.
