Pronunciation Notes

This letter represents the consonant [R]. It is a retroflex sound similar to the Sindhi [D] sound, but it is a shorter and flapped version of [D]. It is made by curling the tip of the tongue back a little bit as you would for the American English "r" sound, but making a short flapped sound similar to the "dd" in American English "ladder".
