Lesson 2 Overview
Expressions of introduction

This lesson continues with personal introductions, and presents phrases you can use to give your name and nationality (or ethnicity), or to introduce someone else similarly. You will also learn how to ask someone what their name is.

The grammar points covered in this lesson include the use of the copula verb huarnu 'to be' in the first person in sentences such as "My name is Susan.", and in third person singular and plural forms in sentences like "They are Americans." and "He is my friend, Valoo." This lesson also introduces the 3rd person pronouns huu "he" or "they" and huua "she".
