If "Security Level" is set to high you don't have scripting enabled (see image on right). Either set it to medium under "default level" or go to "custom level" and under "security settings" enable scripting (see image below)
2. In Firefox
Go to Tools and select Options
A window like the one on the right will open; select Content from the top icons
Make sure 'Enable JavaScript' is selected
Click OK
3. In Netscape
In the Edit menu select Preferences...
In Preferences under Category select Advanced
In the right pane put a checkmark next to Enable Javascript (see image on right)
