Airports & Airport Shuttles


University of Illinois: Willard Airport (CMI) http://www.willardairport.com/
Airport serving Champaign-Urbana. The local airport, Willard Airport (code:CMI), is served by American, Delta, and Northwest. Daily connecting flights arrive and depart from Chicago O’Hare, Detroit, Cincinnati, and St. Louis. The Chancellor Hotel & Convention Center provides free shuttle service to / from the airport. Make arrangements with the hotel ahead of time, or call from the airport (about 10-15 minutes from the hotel).


Central Illinois Regional Airport (BMI)

Many local folks choose to fly into / out of the Bloomington, IL airport, which is about a 1 hour drive from Champaign. With advanced reservations, the Lincolnland Express shuttle service operates between the Bloomington airport and the Champaign transportation hub ((217) 352-6682).


Indianapolis International Airport (IND) http://www.indianapolisairport.com/
Many local folks choose to fly into / out of the Indianapolis International Airport (code: IND), and then drive or take the shuttle over – about a 2 hour drive. The Lincolnland Express shuttle service operates between the Indianapolis airport and the Champaign transportation hub. Reservations are required ((217) 352-6682). The Chancellor Hotel & Convention Center provides free shuttle service to / from the Champaign transportation hub.
Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD)
O'Hare is about 3.5 hours north of Champaign, by car. Both of these shuttles arrive / depart from the Champaign transportation hub, which is about a mile from the Hotel. The Chancellor Hotel & Convention Center provides free shuttle service to / from the Champaign transportation hub.

Lincolnland Express Bus

The Lincolnland Express shuttle service operates between O'Hare and Champaign. Call in advance for reservations (217) 352-6682. The rate varies, depending on how many are in the shuttle, from $40 - $100/trip. They leave O'Hare about every three hours (3 AM, 6 AM, 9 AM, noon, 3 PM, 6 PM, 9 PM, midnight)
