The Linguistics Student Organization at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is proud to announce the first in a series of conferences on language and linguistics-related themes.  The first conference, which will be held the weekend of May 29-31 in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, USA, will feature keynote speakers working in the field of computer-mediated communication and a special session on the topic of "Language Online." The conference is proud to be entirely student-organized and operated, and primarily encourages the submission of abstracts by graduate students.
